Our AniForte® FarmLife Mussel Shell Grit can be used year-round as a feed supplement and made available to any age group. While in older chickens with mussel grit deficiency symptoms can be prevented, in chicks this feed supplement supports bone growth. Mussel grit is easily tolerated and can be mixed without further problems with the usual feed of the chickens.
